AWARDS AND HONORS: Producer/Director James Nussbaum 2008 AVA GOLD AWARD WINNER The 2008 AVA GOLD AWARD went to GALILEO PRODUCTIONS for their work with NJASID, RUTGERS UNIVERSITY for "JUMP!" and our PRO BONO AWARD for THE MERMAID PARADE, a music video close-up of Coney Island, New York's Mermaid Parade held every year during the summers at the boardwalk.  The project has garnished attention from many distributors and was awarded a grant from the AVA Awards as well.  Producers, Kurt Hoss, Susan Shaw and James Ford Nussbaum followed the afternoon events one hot afternoon in 2008 down on the Coney Island Boardwalk.
